Final Task: The Code Room

Jess, Blake, Rachael tonight you'll be facing your final challenge of the game.

Your task as a group is to determine a 4-digit code to open a vault. The code contains the digits 1-2-3-4. The vault contains $100,000 to potentially add to the group pot.

To help determine the code, you can purchase clues.

Here is the cost for a clue:

To determine a pattern of the digits: $30,000 (there's only 1 of these clues available to purchase)
To find out the placement of a specific digit: $25,000 
To eliminate a specific digit from a placement: $15,000

Since this is a group decision, in order to buy a clue, I need 2 of you to post that you want to buy the clue.

If you incorrectly guess the code, you'll lose $10,000. Any of you can guess a code at any time.

Once you determine the correct code, each person will need to enter the code and enter the vault. If all 3 of you can enter the vault before midnight eastern, the remaining money from the vault will be added to the group pot.

I've also supplied the correct code to the mole, so the other 2 of you can try to pry it from them without having to spend your money. But then again, can you really trust what the mole might reveal?

Eliminate a specific digit from a placememt- how does that work?

You pick one of the numbers 1-4 and I tell you a position it is NOT. Example: you say #2 and I say it isn't in the first position.

OR

You pick one of the 4 positions and I tell you 1 number that is NOT in that position. Example: you say the first position and I say it isn't #2.
